So tonight I am trying to create my new baby.. no, not a real baby. This blog, silly. I wouldn't speak of creating THAT kind of baby on my blog. :P
Anyway, I am on the computer creating my blog and my son, Corey, (age seven, recently diagnosed with ADHD, and OCD) is in the laundry room crying. I go in to see what is wrong with him, and he is frustrated with his attempts to put on socks so he can go to sleep. Its summer, so we haven't worn socks in a while. Even in the winter, he doesn't wear socks to bed, but I've learned a long time ago not to ask to many questions. So, I help him with his socks (he is very particular about the way his socks are on his feet, so this took a while) and I get him back into bed. A few seconds later he comes running back out and screaming "I am not done yet!!" Okay, so now what/??? He explains that he has to wear his water shoes to bed, and they will hurt his feet without socks. Okay, so now I see why he needs socks. But, what's with the water shoes?? I wonder if I should ask, or just tuck him back into bed. Curiosity gets the best of me. Why do you need your water shoes on, Corey? Its in case we want to go to the beach in the middle of the night. O-K! Got it. :) I love this kid!!

My new blog!
So, I am starting a new blog.
For a while now, I've wanted to create a blog that truly addresses some of the struggles a family with special needs children deal with each day. I know some days, my life is so crazy, hectic, and frustrating that it would be wonderful to read that others have been there too. I am no expert on special needs children (Or anything for that matter) but I am a mother of three- two who have been labeled "special needs"- and I love to share my experiences with others.
Here's to the birth of a new blog!
